LIHUE — In observance of the Labor Day holiday, offices that serve the County of Kauai will be closed on Monday, Sept. 2.
The Kauai Bus will be operating on its regular schedule, as well as the schedule for the residential rubbish pick up.
However, the following facilities will be closed:
• All major banks, including First Hawaiian Bank and Bank of Hawaii.
• All United States Postal Service offices.
• Costco and FedEx (Some FedEx office locations are open with modified hours).
• The Department of Motor Vehicles.
• All neighborhood centers.
• The Puhi Metals Recycling Center along with the Reynolds Recycling Center in Lihue
• Kekaha Landfill, including all refuse transfer stations
All county offices will resume back to their regular schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
